B.S./Doctor of Chiropractic Degree
(Note: Program Information Subject to Change)

An articulated program between New York Chiropractic College and Ramapo College of New Jersey leading to the completion of the baccalaureate degree and the doctor of chiropractic degree.

An agreement between Ramapo College of New Jersey (RCNJ) and the New York Chiropractic College (NYCC) will provide qualified students the opportunity to complete the bachelor’s and the doctor of chiropractic degrees in just over six years, one year less than normal. Under its provisions, participating students will enroll at RCNJ for coursework leading to the B.S. degree. During the first three years, students will complete all prerequisite coursework for entrance into NYCC as well as additional coursework required by the individual student’s course of study in a major. This will allow them to complete the baccalaureate degree requirements in the first year of study at NYCC. Specific GPA requirements, grades in specific coursework, and letters of intent/application to NYCC are required for guaranteed admission to NYCC. (Please consult the catalogue of NYCC for specific admission requirements)

Students enrolled in the 3+1 program who successfully complete all coursework in the first two trimesters at NYCC will be granted the B.S. degree from Ramapo College, provided they have met all other RCNJ graduation requirements.

For information and specific requirements for admission to this program, contact Dr. Rena Bacon, School of Theoretical and Applied Science, Ramapo College of New Jersey, at (201) 684-7727 or rbacon@ramapo.edu.
