Religious Holiday Observance
Ramapo College seeks to attract students with a variety of religious
beliefs. While the State of New Jersey only recognizes certain
days of religious observance as State holidays, the faculty
of the College will help students whose religious observances
come at other times to meet their academic obligations. Whenever
possible, tests are not scheduled for those religious holidays
and students are assisted in making up any work, including tests,
which they missed by being absent from class.
It is the students responsibility to notify a faculty
member within the first three weeks of the semester if any class
session will be missed due to religious observance and make
the appropriate arrangements. |
