In 2024, Ramapo College received over 8000 applications from all 21 counties in NJ, 33 different states, and 34 foreign countries.
Ramapo College of New Jersey welcomes applications from International Students seeking an F1 student visa. In 2024, Ramapo received applications from students in 34 different countries.
Each year more than 600 transfer students enroll at Ramapo College of New Jersey. These students enter from more than 135 colleges nationwide including 35 New Jersey colleges. Approximately 60% of these students enroll from two-year colleges.
The mission of the EOF is to provide access to higher education and support for highly motivated students who exhibit the potential for success, but who come from families/communities disadvantaged by low income and a lack of access to quality educational preparation necessary to attend college.
If you are a matriculated student (accepted and enrolled in a specific degree program) who voluntarily interrupts your study at Ramapo College for two or more consecutive semesters, you must apply for readmission before resuming study. Students who have not attended Ramapo College in three or more years must resubmit all official transcripts.
Currently attending another college or university and would like to take courses as a visiting student? Interested in seeing what a college course is like before applying for matriculation? Interested in one of our Academic Certificate Programs? Someone with a bachelor’s degree but are required to take courses to prepare for graduate study or teacher certification? Interested in taking college courses to increase job skills or for personal enrichment? If you answered yes, then Ramapo College welcomes you to take courses as a Non-Degree/Visiting Student!
Ramapo College Dual Enrollment is a concurrent enrollment program at Ramapo College that allows high school students in New Jersey to get a head start on their college careers. Students can earn credits from Ramapo College through approved courses taken in their high schools. There are currently 30+ high schools offering Ramapo College Dual Enrollment courses and 500+ high school students participate each year. The college credits earned through Ramapo College Dual Enrollment are transferable to colleges and universities throughout the United States.

Ramapo College scholarships are merit-based opportunities, meaning they are offered to students based on their academic and personal achievements, not financial need. Scholarship awards are offered in a wide range of amounts and are awarded for four years. The scholarship deadline for the Fall 2025 application cycle is December 15, 2024.
