Ramapo College of New Jersey Named an Epicenter for K-12 Climate Initiative
Ramapo College has been selected as New Jersey’s northern region climate change education center for K-12 school districts. The $650,000 is the largest amount awarded by the New Jersey Department of Education for its Climate Change Learning Collaboratives initiative.

Three May 2022 graduates of the Ramapo College Teacher Education program were recognized for their outstanding academic work and clinical performance, distinguishing themselves as being among the finest New Jersey teacher candidates. Sona Borekjian, Rachel Olivo and Jamie Woods received the prestigious New Jersey Distinguished Clinical Intern Award (DCIA), which recognizes the top graduates and certification candidates of the state’s educator preparation programs.
Three of our Master of Arts in Special Education students, Chris Volk, Fatima (Nicole) Ponzio, and Olivia Landers presented a webinar on Virtual Field Trips this on Wednesday, February 24th.
