As part of our comprehensive alcohol prevention program, Ramapo College requires that each member of the first-year class complete AlcoholEdu for College.
AlcoholEdu is an interactive online program that uses the latest evidence-based prevention methods to create a highly engaging learning experience, inspiring students to make healthier decisions related to alcohol and other drugs.
This course has been taken by more than 11 million first-year college students since its launch in 2000.
Students will complete the majority of AlcoholEdu online before arriving on campus for the fall semester. Approximately 30 days after passing the post-test, students are required to complete the brief final chapter and final exam. Students are encouraged to speak with their families about AlcoholEdu for College and how they will handle situations involving alcohol while at Ramapo College. Two sections (Part I and Part II) must be completed to fulfill the requirement.
We also encourage you to bookmark the RCNJ SUD website as a source of alcohol use and wellness information throughout your first year at Ramapo.
All survey responses are strictly confidential. Ramapo College will only receive information about the student body as a whole and will never see individual answers. You can feel confident that providing truthful answers – no matter what they are. These answers will not put you at any risk for repercussions.
