As diagnoses get more complicated and treatments become more complex, it is important to maintain knowledge on current trends and practices. Obtaining a BSN degree expanded my nursing knowledge, advanced my critical thinking skills and allowed me to provide continued evidence-based care. When it was time for me to further my professional education after eight years on the job, I knew Ramapo College was the right choice for me. The RN to BSN curriculum, concentrated mostly online, was favorable for someone working full time. On-site access was never a problem either as the school is conveniently located and easily accessible. The professors are approachable and show genuine interest in my success. Ramapo College continues to show their efforts in providing the best nursing program. That is why when I decided to pursue my MSN degree, I knew Ramapo College was once again the right choice for me. I have no doubt I am receiving a high-quality education that is unparalleled.” – Zorab Fernandez ’18 received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing and is currently enrolled in Ramapo College’s Master of Science in Nursing program in Nursing Education. Zorab has worked as a staff nurse at Hackensack University Medical Center since 2007 and the Valley Hospital since 2010. Zorab is an Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) and a recipient of the DAISY award.
