Sarah Severini

“Ramapo College has been my home for 5 years. I am extremely privileged to have met a second family of peers and staff from the education program who have helped me become the person I am today. I am extremely grateful for the opportunities I have been given, and could not have imagined my college experience going any other way. The educators and mentors of the Education and MASE program are some of the most supportive, professional, and compassionate people I have been able to meet and learn from. I would not be where I am or hold the confidence I do without their assistance in all areas. The program has allowed me to blossom as an educator and I am grateful to each and every one of them. Most notably Dr. Good and Dr. Dinning.” – Sarah Severini ’23 ’24 graduated with a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and her Master’s of Arts in Special Education.

While at Ramapo, she earned the Marina and William Topken Teacher Education Scholarship and was on the Dean’s List in Spring 2020, 2021, 2022 and Fall 2022. Currently, Sarah works as a Kindergarten Teacher in the Westwood Regional School District.
