“Ramapo college was my home for six years, in which the first four were dedicated to earning my bachelor’s degree in mathematics with a concentration in teacher education and my final two towards earning my master’s in applied mathematics. My tenure at Ramapo has provided me with a comprehensive education in both theoretical and applied mathematics. Because of this incredible education, I consider it a privilege that I get to teach the next generation of innovators, computer scientists, mathematicians, data scientists, and hopefully, future mathematics educators.
As history has shown, math has the power to change the world, and I cannot wait to see how not only my future students, but my fellow peers are going to use their math skills to accomplish this. I am also grateful to Ramapo for the lifelong friendships I have formed. Go, roadrunners!” – Kelly O’Neill ’22 ’24 graduated from Ramapo with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a concentration in teacher education and with a Master’s in Science in Applied Mathematics. Kelly currently works in the Wayne Township Public Schools as a Mathematics & Computer Science Teacher.
