Gregory N. Elfers

My history professors at Ramapo taught me that history doesn’t exist in a vacuum. The art, music, literature and culture of a people directly influence their history and vice versa. If you want to know the story of a people, just look at their art and listen to their music. Professors at Ramapo helped me make connections across disciplines and have been interested in and supportive of my work since graduation. They’re as excited about my career as I am.” Gregory N. Elfers ’08 is currently Associate Director of Telefundraising at the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. At Ramapo, he pursued his passions by combining a history major with a minor in music, as well as singing in the Ramapo Chorale.
