Francesca De Ros

“In the summer of 2013, I studied abroad at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan with CIEE. Throughout the four-week experience, I traveled to many different parts of Japan, both rural and urban. I also had the opportunity to live with a homestay family which provided me with a culturally enriching experience. One day I hope to return to Japan to teach English. Studying abroad leaves you with so many amazing memories and helps you grow as a person. I encourage anyone considering going abroad to let their walls down and go for it! The sky is the limit.” – Francesca De Ros ‘16 graduated with a degree in Literature, a minor in Anthropology, and a concentration in Education.
