“I transferred to Ramapo from a private college and was not exactly sure what to expect. After only a few classes, I discovered that the Ramapo professors were truly passionate about journalism and communications. Their love for their craft is matched by an enthusiasm to teach. My professors really pushed me, and the work I did in class often mirrors what I do in my job today. Ramapo is really a great school for anyone pursuing a career in multimedia journalism.” – Emily Cummins ’13 majored in Journalism. She is currently employed as a digital reporter and photojournalist for The Hunterdon County Democrat and NJ.com covering education, as well as local politics and community features. Previously, Emily was a communications intern with the press team for the Nassau County Executive Office and was a features intern with LehighValleyLive.com and The Express-Times in Easton, Pennsylvania.
