“When coming to college I knew that I wanted to study abroad and I chose to study at Universidad Internacional Menedez Pelayo in Sevilla, Spain during the spring 2014 semester. I traveled to many cities within Spain, Portugal and Morocco. I lived with a host family and am so thankful for all that they taught me about life in Sevilla. I look forward to the day when I can be back in Sevilla, kayaking in the Guadalquivir or walking down Calle Betis. Neale Donald Walsch once said “Life begins at the end of your comfort zone” and I definitely urge anyone to take that advice. Studying abroad pushes you to get out of your comfort zone and it is such an incredible opportunity that you will never regret.” – Kate Ambrosio ’15 graduated with a degree in International Studies and minors in Spanish and Women and Gender Studies.
