“I studied abroad in Rome, Italy, during the fall of 2016. While in Rome, I took on-site classes that allowed me to travel around the city with my professors. Instead of the traditional classroom setting, we visited museums, landmarks, churches and historic neighborhoods. I quickly became immersed in Italian society and learn so much about the culture of the country. Studying abroad helped me grow as a person and as a student. I am confident that my experience abroad is something I will carry with me as I move forward in the work-field. Being able to take courses internationally while also traveling and meeting new people is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that I would highly recommend to all students.
