Princep Shah

“I thought being an international student would be difficult, but I feel right at home at Ramapo. The faculty is always helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you are getting the most of your college experience. The leadership and extracurricular opportunities that Ramapo provides has helped me grow a lot over the past two years. I participated in a study and internship abroad program during the summer of 2015 in Dublin, Ireland. It was the best of both worlds for me. I took two classes at University College Dublin, which helped me understand the business environment in Ireland as well as the professional lifestyle in Ireland. I worked for the Bank of Ireland in the Business Banking Department in the Sectors Division. Most of my work included market research and finding out the various sectors in which the bank should invest. Analyzing the market trends and trying to figure out the prospect of the market through the past data was something really cool I got to learn and do there. My friends and I also traveled a lot which gave me an opportunity to learn about the culture and see the wonderful sights. Studying abroad was a fantastic experience. At Ramapo I have learned so much, grown so much, and best of all, I have made friendships that will last a lifetime!”
