Tuli Roy-Kirwan

“I am a mom of two beautiful children and have been married almost 20 years, and I decided to change careers from Corporate Banking to Education. I took a major pay cut and became a Paraprofessional at my children’s elementary school and went back to school at Ramapo to earn my Master’s of Arts in Special Education. It has been a tremendous journey! The first year was really enjoyable, attending class in person and making new connections and learning so much interesting information from such knowledgeable professors. The second year was quite difficult for me, trying to finish my thesis. Many days I cried, felt frustrated and even wanted to quit, but with the encouragement of my family, Ramapo professors and colleagues, I persevered! Today I am so happy and proud to be a Ramapo Graduate!” – Tuli Roy-Kirwan ’24 graduated with a Master’s of Arts in Special Education.

While at Ramapo, she was in the Honors Program. Starting in Fall 2024, Tuli will be a full time Kindergarten and First Grade Special Education Teacher in the West Orange school district.
