“The MBA program is expertly done and every single one of the professors I’ve had, made monumental impacts on the way I critically think and problem solve. Special thanks to Malavika Sundararajan, Huiping Li, Nikhil Varma, Timothy Haase, Patti Mandel, Joy M. de los Reyes, and Sridevi Shivarajan.

Ramapo has redefined the experience of higher education, with a focused approach on modern leadership and the critical thought that underpins the College’s general culture—teamwork. President Jebb often states that the concept of being a good teammate is what drives the quality and culture of Ramapo; it’s what separates us from other colleges and it is 100% accurate. I have made life long connections here, fostered my ability to be a dynamic colleague, and have walked away with the values that Ramapo so greatly exemplifies in both their every day actions and during milestone moments. I am so grateful for my time here and truly feel it has been a milestone experience in my life.

Thank you Ramapo, and all your faculty and staff who work so hard to make this place the beautiful environment that it’s flourished into under President Jebb’s leadership.” – Lauren Marzano ’23 graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Business Administration, and she earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Minor in Women’s and Gender Studies from William Paterson University. Lauren is a first generation student and competed at the NJAC State Championship in Track and Field in Spring 2022 for both shot-put and discus. Lauren continued her athletics journey and is now part of the Morris Rugby club team, proudly playing on their women’s team and enjoying every minute of it.

Lauren was recruited directly out of the MBA program by a top Fortune 500 company , New York Life, and worked there for 8 months, including earning 2 state level licenses and working under the title Financial Professional. However, she wanted to try her hand at a different industry that was more related back to Marketing, her prior professional background, so she switched into a new role in April 2024 under an e-commerce department at a medical product company as a Data Analytics Specialist.

“I’ve done market entry strategy research for them to help us break into new markets as well as product research and competitor comparison with the New Product Development team (NPD). My every day includes aspects such as calculating our net profits and net margins for specific SKUs using our LDP / shipping costs etc and analyzing how that impacts our ability to be competitive within the given market share space for that product. Additionally, I’ve done forecasting work on specific SKUs we are targeting for marketing pushes; and I’m currently working on gearing us up to soft launch into Walmart.

I’ve utilized the skill sets I developed in Ramapo’s MBA program to find great personal joy and success in my current role; and I’m very grateful for all the tools that Ramapo provided to me. Both in rugby and in my professional industry—I always focus on being a good teammate as that’s the most important lesson I learned from Ramapo.”
