ISA – University of Westminster – London, England (summer 2014)

My name is Erin DuBee and I am a senior at Ramapo College majoring in Communication Arts with a Concentration in Digital Filmmaking. I am the co-president of the International Business Club as well as the Service Chair for the Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity. This past summer I was fortunate enough to study abroad in London, England. There was not a single part of London that I did not enjoy. I was astounded at the sense of history throughout the modern city. During my three weeks in there, I visited a famous attraction such as Big Ben and the Tower of London everyday as I extensively toured London. I also had the opportunity to venture outside of the city with my program to tour Dover Castle, Brighton Beach, and Canterbury. My class, Politics, Propaganda, and the Cinema, helped me to gain a new insight on wartime films of the 20th century. Not only did I learn inside of the classroom, but I also experienced British culture and history on a daily basis outside of school. Studying abroad provided me with a wonderful opportunity to broaden my horizons and perspectives, and I believe that all Roadrunners can greatly benefit from it. As a Global Roadrunner, I am excited to share my study abroad experiences and help you begin your journey to study abroad. I really look forward to helping you find the best program and city so you can have an amazing experience as well.
