Arcadia – National University of Ireland – Galway, Ireland (spring 2013)
My name is Amanda Coyle and I’m going into my senior year at Ramapo. I’m a business administration major with a concentration in management and a minor in economics. I spent the spring 2013 semester in Galway, Ireland studying at the National University of Ireland Galway. Studying abroad provided me with such great experiences. I was able to take advantage of so many great classes and clubs at NUIG. I learned the Irish language, how to fence, and all about medieval castles in Ireland. I travelled around Ireland and to other countries as well. The people I met were fantastic; living with people from Ireland showed me new perspectives on issues from around the world, including my own country. The places that I travelled to were breathtaking. Ireland was beautiful, but so were other parts of Europe. Without study abroad I wouldn’t have been able to go to so many wonderful places. I really loved study abroad. I made lifelong friends and have amazing memories. I’m extremely excited to be a global roadrunner and help other students to study abroad. I want to help them have the best study abroad experience possible. Study abroad is life changing and I’m thrilled to help others begin their journey.
