Affordable. The India Semester program costs approximately the same as a residential semester at Ramapo College, and there are scholarships available.

Field Excursions
Each course includes local and one extended excursion throughout South India. Previous excursions have included:

Accommodations
Students will live in double or triple rooms, each with a desks, dressers and bathroom. Laundry service is available (at a fee) and wi-fi is generally available at all times. At the Fireflies Intercultural Centre, there is also a library, classrooms, multiple dining facilities, sculpture gardens, and much more.

4 credits, 6 weeks – ‘Culture & Sustainability’
Academic Course: INTD 290 Grassroots Communities of India
This program begins with a preparatory component in New Jersey, followed by 3 weeks in India. In India, students will participate in three course modules: Social & Cultural Issues; Sustainability in India; and Human Rights Movements. Each module will include lectures, excursions and a service learning component.
