Payment Deadlines

The summer term has three payment deadlines:

• If a student registers March 1, 2024 through May 1, 2024, the payment deadline is MAY 7, 2024
  
• If a student registers May 2, 2024 through May 30, 2024, the payment deadline is MAY 30, 2024
  
• If a student registers May 31, 2024 through June 26, 2024, the payment deadline is JUNE 26, 2024

Note: Any balance incurred by a registration or schedule adjustment after June 26, 2024 must be paid on the date of the registration or adjustment.

Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in an assessment of a Late Payment Fee of $100 for each missed payment deadline and/or DEREGISTRATION from your Summer courses. You may also receive a financial hold flag placed on your account preventing future registration and/or receipt of your official transcript.

Students who wish to drop classes must go online and drop the courses they do not plan to attend. Failure to meet payment deadlines and/or failure to attend class does not automatically drop classes. Students who do not go online and drop classes by the published ADD/DROP deadlines are responsible for payments.

The College reserves the right to change costs, dates and procedures at its discretion.

Spring 2024 Payment Deadlines:

December 19, 2023 for students registering October 30, 2023 through December 12, 2023

January 24, 2024 for students registering December 13, 2023 through January 24, 2024.

* Students registering or adjusting their schedules after January 24, 2024, must pay on the day they register or adjust their schedule.

The Office of Student Accounts will be open until 6:00 P.M. on January 24, 2024.

Failure to pay according to the above schedule may result in assessment of a Late Payment Fee of $200 for each missed payment deadline. You may also be subject to DEREGISTRATION and DEHOUSING.

Important Note: An outstanding balance does not always result in deregistration. If you do not intend to attend a class(es), we strongly recommend that you go online and drop the course(s) yourself or you will be responsible for payment.

Spring 2024 Refund Deadlines:

50% Refund: February 6, 2024

*Students will only receive a 100% refund if they have not checked into the residence halls. Students who have checked in will be refunded the amount charged for their resident hall less a prorated daily rate for each day living on campus until they withdraw from housing

100% Refund: January 30, 2024 (less meal usage)
50% Refund: February 6, 2024

Student Medical Insurance Waiver Deadline

Failure to pay according to the above schedule may result in assessment of a Late Payment Fee of $50. You may also be subject to DEREGISTRATION from your courses for non-payment.

Please be aware, the Ramapo Tuition Payment Plan (RTPP) is not available in the Winter term.
