HEERF III – ARP Emergency Grants

Ramapo College will receive a third round of federal Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund grants, known as American Rescue Plan Act (HEERF III – ARP).  These grants were provided to students and institutions by the U.S. Department of Education.

What the emergency grants cover:

Recipients can use these grants for “any component of their cost of attendance or for emergency costs that
arise due to coronavirus, such as tuition, food, housing, health care (including mental health care) or child care.

Eligibility

Students who were enrolled after March 13, 2020 are eligible.  HEERF III – ARP requires institutions to prioritize students with exceptional need and domestic undergraduates.

Grant Amounts & Award Process

Notifications of award will be sent to students’ Ramapo College email.  Awards will be paid directly to students via electronic refund or check.  Grants will be made in December, 2021.

The College again seeks to distribute these funds equitably and compassionately, with a thoughtful and thorough amount calculation process.
