Researching Law Schools (see disclaimer below)
- ABA-LSAC Official Guide to ABA-Approved Law Schools
This is the most comprehensive and reliable source about law schools and should be the first place you go as you research law schools. The Pre-Law Advisor has a current copy of this book and recent copies can be found in the Cahill Center Library.
- LSAC Data Search
Helps find schools in your GPA/LSAT range. Enter your GPA and LSAT and you can view the estimated likelihood that you will be admitted to any given school. Please note that this gives you cursory information on admittance. Many law school admissions websites will give more detailed information such as the 25th and 75th percentile of admitted students with particular LSAT scores and GPAs. Some law schools will also provide information on students’ age, race, and gender distribution as well as educational and/or professional background.
