Research Interest:
As an applied social/organizational psychologist, I take an interdisciplinary approach to examining social inequalities and injustices. I use an intersectional framework, which recognizes that membership in multiple social groups (e.g., gender, race, sexual orientation) creates unique experiences for individuals. I have pursued three lines of research that address these core interests: (1) sex-based harassment, (2) stereotyping and prejudice, and (3) social attitudes and health behaviors. I have also explored the applications of research to public policy.
