Boycheva-Yordanov TAS Scholarship Endowment

Inna Boycheva ’16 and Dobromir Yordanov ’15 are Ramapo College computer science alumni who hold a firm belief that education happens inside and outside of the classroom, and there’s always something new and exciting to be explored. As international alumni, they understand the hardship and unique challenges of living and working far away from home during college years. That is why they decided to create a scholarship for students that actively pursue extracurricular activities on or off campus during their freshman or sophomore year, especially if they’ve found a home at Ramapo far away from their home.

Jose F. Montes Memorial Scholarship

Francisco Montes ’11, an alumnus of the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF), graduated from Ramapo College with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a minor in Anthropology.

While at Ramapo, Francisco was primarily involved in his fraternity, Lambda Theta Phi, which developed numerous educational programs and participated in multiple community service events each semester both on and off campus. He also played for the men’s Volleyball team during the 2006 season.

The Jose F. Montes Memorial Scholarship was created in memory of Francisco’s father, Jose F. Montes, who passed away on April 14, 2020, and to honor the numerous healthcare workers who cared for him and others during the COVID pandemic. The purpose of the scholarship is to recognize EOF students pursuing a career in the healthcare industry.
