A Message from Our Director, Lisa A. Campbell

Welcome to our 25th Season!  Ramapo College of NJ has been bringing outstanding guest artists to perform at the Berrie Center for the Arts on our campus for a quarter of a century.  Last year we rolled out our new brand Arch Performances, distinguishing our guest artist series from the wide variety of events that occur at the Berrie Center for the Arts every year. Now, in celebration of our anniversary, we are focused on championing the arts for everyone! We invite you to join us in this effort as an Arts Champion and make the lives of northern NJ residents better by engaging in the arts.

Arch Performances has always had the vision of being a community resource welcoming over 85% of our audiences from the greater Mahwah region. Over the past five years, we have expanded our commitment by developing partnerships with underserved students in two regional public school systems.  This year, we are launching two new partnerships with local women’s shelters, helping to increase the quality of life for those families. Like an arch, we want to be a support to our neighboring citizens.

What is a Champion? Arch Performances is looking for individuals who share our vision to sustain the arts. By joining us, you become a champion of the arts, champion of our communities, and champion of our schools!

Why be a Champion?  Ticket sales to our performances cover approximately 60% of the total cost of operation.  While many patrons tell us they love our intimate, beautiful theater, at 338-seats it is impossible to sustain the cost of operation solely from ticket sales.  By becoming an Arts Champion, your tax-deductible donation will help us continue to bring quality programming to our region and reach the most underserved areas of our communities to make a difference in the lives of all our neighbors.
