Alcohol Allowed Housing

Alcohol Allowed Housing

Suites within The Village, within the 7th and 8th floors of Laurel Hall, and students enrolled in Graduate School may become Alcohol Allowed.

Residents may become eligible for Alcohol Allowed Housing, beginning on the first day of classes for the semester, as per our Academic Calendar; pending they have complied with the application process.

Application process:

  1. Each resident who is 21 must fill out the alcohol allowed agreement.
  2. Once the alcohol allowed agreement is filled out by all residents who are 21, the residents need to send an email to their hall office to confirm they have all filled out the form.
  3. The hall office will place an alcohol allowed agreement inside, next to the apartment door. It is the residents responsibility to ensure that this agreement is always visible in the allocated spot that it was placed.

Once the above requirements are met, our staff will review the request, and hang an official alcohol allowed sign on the inside of the suite. The agreement must be placed in the holder next to the suite door before alcohol can be present. Until this process is completed, the housing assignment is alcohol prohibited. The agreement is only valid for one semester and Residence Life staff will update the agreement each semester.
