Residence Hall Contacts

Avoid $75 improper checkout and all other fines.
Remove all trash and recyclables to avoid fines from $25 per bundle.
Leave College refrigerator turned on, set to level 5 (remove all perishables).
Leave thermostat set to auto, low, 70 degrees.
Clean the room so it is prepared for end of the year inspections.
Close blinds, lock window, shut off all lights, close the room door behind you.
Empty your campus mailbox and remember to inform all correspondents of your new mailing address.
Remove all personal property. Keep all drawers open to help ensure you have removed everything. Ramapo College is NOT responsible for residents’ personal belongings. Residents are NOT permitted to return to Campus housing.
Contact your RA or your hall office if you have any questions.
Leave campus before your check-out deadline, based on your last exam.

Avoid $75 improper check-out fines and all other fines.
Remove all trash and recyclables to avoid fines of $25 per bundle.
Unplug all your personal items but DO NOT unplug College items (refrigerator and desk lights).
Leave the College-provided refrigerator plugged in and set to level 5 (remove perishables).
Leave the heater set to Auto at 72 degrees.
Take all personal valuables and needed supplies with you.
The College is NOT responsible for residents’ personal belongings.
Residents are NOT permitted to return to campus housing during the break, for any reason.
Clear the room and have it prepared for the end-of-the-semester room inspection.
Residents are NOT permitted to return to campus housing after check-out, for any reason.
Close blinds, lock windows, shut off all lights, and lock the suite door behind you.
If withdrawing from housing, remember to inform all correspondents of your new address, if applicable.
Vacate campus by your check-out deadline, based on your last exam or the final check-out date posted to the Residence Life closing website.
