Mission Statement
The President’s Committee on Campus Sustainability defines sustainability broadly as meeting the needs of the present without compromising environmental quality and the wellbeing of present and future generations. The Committee will help Ramapo College put this definition into practice by exploring and developing sustainable options, coordinating and facilitating sustainability initiatives across the campus, and communicating about sustainability to the College. It will guide and assist the President in implementing sustainability commitments, and help ensure that the College considers the environmental, economic, and social impacts of sustainability-related decisions that are made as part of campus operations.
