FALL/WINTER HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

We will again be offering employees the opportunity to work extended hours during October, November & December to cover the 2025 winter break. This year the winter break will be December 24 through January 2, 2026 for a total of 42 hours. This program is voluntary and employees are not required to participate. The modified work schedule for each employee will be monitored at the unit level by the manager and a list of those employees participating must be forwarded to POER by September 24, 2025. As always, the fall holidays are also available as an option to work and offset some of the hours for winter break. Vacation Carryover

Vacation carryover is limited to one year of accrued time. Employees who earn time on a calendar year basis, please remember to review vacation balances and schedule your time prior to December 31, 2025 so you do not lose accrued time. If you are in jeopardy of losing vacation time, please meet with your supervisor as soon as possible.
