Favorite Class: My favorite class right now is Human Behavior in the Social Environment with professor Colleen Martinez. This is my favorite class because the professor encourages the class to have healthy discussions about lessons each week. This is truly one of the only classes that I’ve experienced in which all students are willing to participate and speak on their opinions.

Favorite Place on Campus: I have a few favorite places on campus. I would say the BSU Office is a really nice and quiet place to hang out and do homework in. I also love the women’s center my dorm in the village, because it houses my favorite people on campus, my roommates:)

Clubs/Organizations: I am only a part of the Students of Caribbean Ancestry aside from the peer program. I am the most active in this club, and I love being a part of it because this is where I can be authentically myself.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: Don’t worry about something for more than five minutes that won’t matter in five years.

Advice for First-Year Students: Try and be involved as much as possible because this is where you make connections and network with people. Getting involved can also be the reason why you meet long term friends.
