Class of: 2025

Major/Minor: Biology Pre-Med

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class is my Intro to Psychology class. Even though I am a Biology major, I needed the course for a gen-ed. I have taken AP Psych in high school, and has always been an interest of mine. After taking it here at Ramapo, I have gained a larger understand as to why people think, feel, and act the way they do, making it important/ relevant to everyday life.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus would be the library because it serves as an outlet for me to be productive and clear my mind. With the different levels, I can find space to do home work, study and journal with no distraction. I also love that the Starbucks is on the main floor, so I don’t have to go all the way to the dining hall for drinks or food throughout the day.

Involvement on Campus: Currently, the only organization I am apart of is the peer facilitation program, as I am a returning peer. I feel as though this accurately describes my personality and interest through my passion of guiding and mentoring others. I thrive in environments surrounded by others where I am offering help and building the efforts of the ones around me.

Future Plans: Post graduation, I plan on getting a job within the hospital in my hometown starting off to get connections with doctors and ones of higher authority. I aim to intern at similar places to gain a better understanding of exactly what field of practice I want to go into after leaving Ramapo. I have already applied to numerous job positions for the summer to start in the off season, and to pick up full time once graduating in 2025.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.” – Stephen Covey

Advice for First-Year Students: Starting your college journey is going to be exciting yet a bit scary at times, so remember to always prioritize yourself. Managing self-care while taking the right initiatives to reach out when you need it is so important. This is the time to explore / grow into the best version of yourself, so make efforts to get involved on campus and make connections to help you succeed!
