Katie Kim

Class of: 2027

Major/Minor: Nursing

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: My favorite class is Arts and Humanities with Professor Flanagan. I think that Professor Flanagan is such a funny teacher, who is good at keeping in-depth conversations going. I also really like my class itself, because all the students are good at participating in the conversations.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is definitely the George T. Potter Library because it has such a great environment to study, and napping there is also nice.

Future Plans: My hopeful future plans will to become a patient and compassionate nurse, who will possibly specialize in a certain field later down the line. Although I don’t have a definite, clear plan of the future, I am just excited to see what it has to offer me.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”

Advice for First-Year Students: I think that first year students, who are scared to make friends or get involved, should realize that their classmates are also just as new. When you start to understand that every first year student is starting off fresh from graduating high school, it is more easier to connect with them with the mindset that they are just as nervous as you.
