FYS Class:

Class of: 2025

Major/Minor:Major: Psychology; Minor: Crime & Justice Studies

Resident/Commuter: Resident

Favorite Class: My favorite class was forensic psychology because I have always had a love for psychology and I watched too many horror movies and crime shows that I found so much interest in the mind of criminal offenders.

Favorite Place on Campus: My favorite place on campus is either Dunkin or The Learning Commons because I love Dunkin coffee and food but like the library for a more relaxing atmosphere

Campus Involvement: Secretary of Psi Chi Honor Society

Future Plans: I will be starting an internship in the Probation division of the Bergen County Superior Court starting Fall of 2024. My hope is to continue my work throughout my senior year, and go to graduate school for forensic mental health counseling. My ultimate goal is to become a victim’s advocate for individuals who have experienced domestic or sexual violence. Outside of school and work, I hope to get rich, buy a Harley and move to a farm!!

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “You either run from things, or you face them, Mr. White.” – Jesse Pinkman

Advice for First-Year Students: Get involved in as many clubs/organizations/events even if it seems scary or embarrassing. You will create the strongest and long-lasting friendships by getting involved on campus. As far as classes, create and stick to an organized schedule. It might not seem helpful, but forcing yourself to stick to a strategic schedule will help you stay organized and balance your work/school schedule and personal care. Always remember to take care of yourself too!!!
