Marcos Lucero

Class of: 2025

Major/Minor: Political Science

Resident/Commuter: Commuter

Favorite Class: My favorite class is State and Local Politics with professor Sidorksy because it provided me with a unique experience of being part of a simulation of state government and how it operates while learning about it as well.

Favorite Place on Campus: The learning center because it is where I spend the most of my time on campus outside of class. Also because it is where I’ve spent the most times making memories with the friends I’ve made at Ramapo.

Clubs/Organizations: Peer Facilitation

Future Plans: After graduation I plan on taking a break from studying and learning to travel and then coming back to further my education.

Favorite Inspirational Quote: “Quit, don’t quit… Noodles, don’t noodles… You are too concerned about what was and what will be. There is a saying: yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift.” – Master Oogway from Kung Fu Panda

Advice for First-Year Students: Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. If there is something that seems interesting to you, go for it!
