We know the college application process can be just as overwhelming for the parents and guardians as it is for the students. But don’t worry! Our Admissions Team is here to support you throughout the entire process from start to finish. Below is a quick summary of application information that we hope you will find helpful.
We make it easy: Your student can use our Ramapo Application, the Common Application or the Coalition Application. All of these choices get the job done the same way! Visit our Freshman Apply Page for more information.
Early Decision is a binding program for all students who have a strong desire to attend Ramapo College. If admitted, your student must attend Ramapo College and withdraw any applications submitted to other schools. Early Decision notification is on December 5.
December 15: Early Action and Priority Consideration for Nursing/ Biology and Merit Based Scholarships
Early Action is a non-binding program for all students who have a strong desire to attend Ramapo College. Students interested in Nursing and Biology are especially encouraged to apply Early Action, as these programs are more competitive. Early Action notification is on February 1.
February 1: Regular Decision Application Deadline
Any student that is interested in applying to Ramapo College is encouraged to apply but the February 1 application deadline. Notifications will be sent on March 1 regarding decisions.
