Welcome to Ramapo College!  We are so excited to have you a part of the Ramapo College community.  We have created a great experience for you and are confident that it will help you acclimate to life at Ramapo.  New Student Experience is a multi-step process for all new students. Each step in the process is listed below and will be viewable in your admissions portal as they become available.

Spring 2025

• Step 1: Complete any necessary Placement Testing (if applicable)
  • Unsure of what tests are required complete this form.
  • Please note, for transfer credit, AP scores and/or SAT/ACT scores to exempt you from testing, you must officially send transcripts/score reports to admissions@ramapo.edu.
• Step 2: Beginning in December, complete your Virtual New Student Module prior to your one on one advisement appointment.
  • To accept your invitation, log in to Canvas (our online learning management system) using your Ramapo username and password.
  • At the top of your dashboard in green there will be an option to accept the invitation to your Virtual New Student Module.
  • Complete all of the lessons as required.
• Step 3: Beginnng in December, log in to your Deposited Student Portal and sign up for your one on one academic advisement appointment.  Be sure to complete step 2 prior to attending your advisement appointment!
• Step 4: Register for Explore Campus: Spring Edition for your on campus orientation experience.  On Tuesday, January 7th from 10am-12:30pm you and your family are invited to join us on campus to get your photo taken for your student ID, meet with key offices and resources and explore campus.
• Step 5: Join us for Winter Welcome starting with New Student Move In and Check In on Monday, January 20, 2025.
