Welcome to Ramapo College!  We are so excited to have you a part of the Ramapo College community.  We have created a great experience for you and are confident that it will help you acclimate to life at Ramapo.  New Student Experience is a multi-step process for all new students. Each step in the process is listed below and will be viewable in your admissions portal as they become available.

Spring 2025

• Step 1: Complete any necessary Placement Testing (if applicable)
  • Unsure of what tests are required complete this form.
  • Please note, for transfer credit, AP scores and/or SAT/ACT scores to exempt you from testing, you must officially send transcripts/score reports to admissions@ramapo.edu.
• Step 2: Beginning in November, complete your Virtual New Student Module prior to your one on one advisement appointment. (Access will be granted 24-48 business hours after your deposit has been processed by Admissions)
  • To access the course, log in to Canvas (our online learning management system) using your Ramapo username and password.
  • Complete all of the lessons as required.
• Step 3: Beginnng in December, log in to your Deposited Student Portal and sign up for your one on one academic advisement appointment.  Be sure to complete step 2 prior to attending your advisement appointment!
• Step 4: Register for Explore Campus: Spring Edition for your on campus orientation experience.  On Tuesday, January 7th from 10am-12:30pm you and your family are invited to join us on campus to get your photo taken for your student ID, meet with key offices and resources and explore campus.
• Step 5: Join us for Winter Welcome starting with New Student Move In and Check In on Monday, January 20, 2025. Click here to RSVP to the New Student Assembly and Arching Ceremony.
