Ebony Women for Social Change will be showing the Shipment, a play written by Young Jean Lee. This “black identity political show” as Lee states will confront, provoke, and challenge you to laugh as the performers consider their own preconceptions about race and culture. This play touches on certain stereotypes and how African Americans have been portrayed in theater and in the world. There will also be a discussion at the end of the performance.
