The RN/BSN curriculum focuses on the further professional education of the associate or diploma prepared nurse. The program is 95% online with some on-site experiences that may be required. Some electives are offered on-campus in a classroom; all Nursing requirements are offered only through online format. Students may take RN/BSN curriculum at their own pace or in an organized 18-month completion plan, as agreed upon with the Asst. Dean of Nursing.

Associate Degree Students

For graduates of ACEN/CNEA accredited associate degree programs, transfer credits from the previous associated degree academic education are granted upon admission.

Diploma Program Students

For graduates of ACEN/CNEA accredited diploma programs, 30 Core credits are granted upon satisfactory completion of two RN/BSN nursing courses. If the diploma graduate received college credits as part of the diploma, these are granted in transfer. Academic credits are evaluated by the College’s transfer evaluator. RNs complete another 32 credits in nursing; complete the remaining general education requirements of Ramapo College.
