MAHWAH – The Ramapo College Foundation kicks off its Performing Arts Dinner Series on Sunday, October 26, 2014 with Radiotheatre’s Frankenstein at The Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts. This award-winning performance group creates live audio theatre. Frankenstein is the perfect horror tale for Halloween weekend.
Those who become benefactors and patrons of the program will be invited on select Sunday evenings to a gourmet dinner featuring a buffet with fine wines and preferred seating for the performance.
In addition to Radiotheatre’s Frankenstein, other performances in the series include an engaging presentation featuring the stars of Les Miserables. Married to Broadway features husband and wife, Ron Sharpe and Barbra Russell. The couple will be joined by Natalie Toro who will perform the best of the Great White Way in addition to favorite holiday classics on Sunday, December 7. The remaining performances are A Band Called Honalee, a modern-day folk troupe inspired by the music and legacy of Peter, Paul and Mary on Sunday, March 25 and The McCartney Years: The Premier Paul McCartney “Wings over America” live concert experience on Sunday, May 3, 2015.
Hosted by The Ramapo College Foundation, this specially packaged series is a way for philanthropic patrons to experience outstanding entertainment while supporting scholarships, faculty and student research opportunities and campus capital projects. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Adler, the Adler Aphasia Center, Inserra Shop Rite Supermarkets, Liberty Hyundai, Liberty Subaru, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Putrino, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Rodriguez and Sharp are sponsors of the series.
