MAHWAH, N.J. – The Ramapo College Foundation kicks off its Sixteenth Annual Performing Arts Dinner Series Sunday, October 18 with Jarrod Spector at The Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts. Spector, a Tony Award nominee from Broadway’s Jersey Boys, will present vocal selections of some of the great male singers of past generations.
In addition to Jarrod Spector, the other performances in the series include Eileen Ivers, dubbed the “Jimi Hendrix of the violin” by the New York Times, on Sunday, December 6; the fast-paced comedy production, The Wonder Years, starring Pat Hazell, on Saturday, March 19, 2016; and the powerhouse jazz ensemble, The Hot Sardines, on Sunday, May 1, 2016.
Hosted by The Ramapo College Foundation, this specially packaged series is a way for philanthropic patrons to experience outstanding entertainment while supporting College scholarships, faculty and student research opportunities and campus capital projects.
“The Dinner Series is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a night out with friends while providing valuable support for the College and its students,” said Roy Putrino, chair of the Performing Arts Dinner Series Committee.
The two levels of support for the Performing Arts Dinner Series are Benefactor (two reserved tickets to each of the four dinners and performances at $1,400) and Patron (one ticket for any of the four performances at $125). A wonderful dinner and fine wines are served before the performances. For additional information, please call Liz Kloak, 201-684-6834 or email lkloak@ramapo.edu.
