MAHWAH, N.J. – The Center for Sustainability at Ramapo College will host the Food & Water Watch Climate and Energy Conference on Saturday, October 31, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Trustees Pavilion.
The Conference is designed to connect, educate and equip people around the state with skills and knowledge to combat dangerous oil and gas infrastructure, fight climate change and explore common sense and fair policy solutions to the current crisis. The one-day event will feature workshops, keynote speakers, panel discussions, training and skill sharing among grassroots organizations.
The event is organized by Food & Water Watch and the Ramapo College Masters of Sustainability Program. Registration is required. Please visit http://fwwat.ch/1KgAPQy to register and to see a list of topics and panel presenters.
Admission is $13 per person and includes breakfast and lunch.
