MAHWAH, N.J. – Ramapo College of New Jersey is celebrating International Education Week with a series of special events that includes guest speakers, language hours and food tastings. The week-long celebration from October 19-22 is sponsored by the Roukema Center for International Education. All events are free and will be held on campus.

“Ramapo College has always valued international education. International Education Week provides us with an additional opportunity throughout the year to offer a unique focus on global experiences,” said Ben Levy, director of International Education at Ramapo College. “Through initiatives, such as International Education Week, global learning can be accessible to all students by bringing the world to them. This year, for example, we will be offering a Global Brunch series where participants can taste foods from around the world.”

Levy added that there also will be cooking demonstrations, a presentation by Peace Corps and the United Nations Association, and a Japanese Karaoke evening.
