(MAHWAH, NJ) – The Ramapo College of New Jersey Theater program, comprised of students from the School of Contemporary Arts, will be performing Nikolai Gogol’s “The Government Inspector” this month.
Under the direction of Greg Steinbruner, “The Government Inspector” tells the story of a corrupted small town, where rumors of a secret government inspector keeping surveillance persist, leaving town officials desperate to cover their tracks and save face with whomever they suspect to be the inspector. “The Government Inspector” will transport you to a comic universe not so different from our own, complete with a scandal-ridden governor, ponzi schemes, predatory loans and other delights of social disorder.
The following Ramapo students will perform in “The Government Inspector”:

Chelsea Collins, Piscataway, NJ
Michael Covielo, Hasbrouck Heights, NJ
Tom Curran, Saddle Brook, NJ

Caitlin Montenero, Toms River, NJ
Melissa Mugica, Edison, NJ
Alyce Muhammad, Newark, NJ
Vanessa Rappa, New Milford, NJ
