(Mahwah) – The Tim Gillis Band, one of New Jersey’s most popular country music dance bands, will headline the Commerce Bank Summer Concert Series at Ramapo College of New Jersey on Thursday, July 22. The concert will take place at the Band Shell, beginning at 8 p.m. Admission is free; parking is $5 per car.
The Tim Gillis Band is a seven-piece group featuring pedal steel, fiddle, guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and two female vocalists. The band attracts crowds who love to dance and enjoy the best of country music.
The band was the winner of the Marlboro Country Music Talent Search for the Northeast and performed at Madison Square Garden with Merle Haggard and Alabama. They’ve opened for such stars as The Charlie Daniels Band, Vince Gill, Sweethearts of the Rodeo, Patty Loveless, Larry Gatlin, Ronnie Milsap, Oak Ridge Boys and others.
