(Mahwah) – Peter Goetz was recently named dean of enrollment management at Ramapo College of New Jersey, effective July 1. He has served as director of recruitment and retention at Ramapo since 1998. Prior to that, he held the positions of assistant director of admissions and admissions counselor, also at Ramapo College. As dean, he will supervise the offices of Admissions and Financial Aid.

Goetz, who was born in Brooklyn, NY, grew up in East Brunswick, graduating from East Brunswick High School in 1985. He earned a B.A. in Communication Arts at Ramapo College and an M.A. in Communication Arts at William Paterson University. In addition to his career at Ramapo College, he worked as the morning drive time disc jockey at WRKL in Rockland County, NY from 1991 to 1994. He was a candidate for the New Jersey Assembly in the 40th District in 1997.

Goetz and his wife Nicole reside in Hewitt.
