MAHWAH – Folksinger Tom Rush’s impact on the American music scene has been profound. He helped shape the folk revival in the 1960s and the renaissance of the 1980s and 1990s. He will perform at Ramapo College of New Jersey in March.
Rush’s distinctive guitar style and expressive voice have made him a legend to legions of fans. His shows are filled with story telling, the sweet melancholy of ballads and the passion of gritty blues.
The folksinger will perform Sunday, March 15 at 3 p.m. in the Sharp Theater. Tickets cost $23, $20 and $18 for adults, $12 for children under 17 and senior citizens will receive a 5% discount off ticket prices. The Sharp Theater is located in the Angelica and Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts on the Ramapo College campus. For more information call 201.684.7844.
This program is made possible in part by funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
