(Mahwah) – A reception to recognize vice chairs and corporate sponsors and introduce the honorees for Ramapo College of New Jersey’s upcoming Distinguished Citizens Dinner recently was held at the historic Havemeyer House on the Ramapo College campus.
The reception provided an opportunity for the vice chairs and sponsors to meet the 2004 Distinguished Citizens: Robert R. Ceberio, executive director of the New Jersey Meadowlands Commission; Douglas H. Dittrick, president and CEO of Douglas Communications Corporation II; Frances K. Hackett ’80, vice president, program management in Prudential Financial’s Group Insurance Department; and Robert E. Striano, president of Konica Minolta Photo Imaging U.S.A., Inc. Guests were welcomed by President Rodney D. Smith, the Ramapo College Foundation Board of Governors and Thomas McGurn, chairman, Distinguished Citizens Dinner Committee.
The 22nd annual Distinguished Citizens Dinner will be held Saturday, March 6 at the Rockleigh County Club and will feature entertainment by Gary U.S. Bonds and Soiree, and a silent auction. The evening will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by the dinner program, dancing and entertainment. A silent auction will be open throughout the evening. The annual benefit dinner raises funds that help to provide for student scholarships, critical college programs and faculty research.
