Barry Harris: Maestro’s Choice Will Perform at The Berrie Center

(Mahwah) – Jazz at the Berrie Center presents The Great Barry Harris: Maestro’s Choice Friday, February 9 at 8 p.m. in the Sharp Theater on the campus of Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Barry Harris, a legendary pianist, composer and educator, worked with Cannonball Adderly, Coleman Hawkins and Dexter Gordon. He returns to the Berrie Center with an all-star quintet featuring former Count Basie band members Frank Wess on sax, Joe Wilder on trumpet, as well as bassist Earl May and drummer Leroy Williams.
Tickets for The Great Barry Harris are $24, $20 and $15 for adults and $12 for children under 17. Senior citizens are eligible for a five percent discount off ticket prices. New Jersey Jazz Society and WBGO Radio members also receive a five percent discount.
