(MAHWAH, NJ) – The Phi Delta Epsilon Medical Fraternity and Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity at Ramapo College of New Jersey will host its Second Annual Dance Marathon to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital’s local beneficiary, Children’s Specialized Hospital, which has nine sites in New Jersey.
The event will be held Saturday, April 16 from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Friends Hall in the Student Center and will feature music, prizes, free food, games and dancing.
Children’s Specialized Hospital is the largest pediatric rehabilitation healthcare system in the United States. It is the preeminent provider of rehabilitation for children with special needs, serving children affected by brain injury, spinal cord dysfunction and injury, premature birth, autism, developmental delays, and life-changing illnesses.
Registration is $10 online at http://ramapodm.kintera.org/faf/home/default.asp?ievent=446288 or $20 at the door. Donations are also welcomed. Last year, students raised more than $10,000 with the help of friends, families, and sponsors. Special guest Ashleigh Udalovas, 2010 Miss New Jersey, will make an appearance, along with children who have been helped by the hospital.
