Ramapo College of New Jersey has once again been named to Forbes’ America’s Best Colleges for 2024, retaining its top 10 national ranking for public medium-sized schools. Only 500 four-year schools were selected after careful review of data points that include alumni salary, student debt load, graduation rate, return on investment, retention rate, and Forbes American Leaders List.

When it comes to the return on investment, Ramapo College alumni are positioned well for financial success in their careers. Ramapo ranks 6th nationally in public, medium-sized, suburban schools with an alumni median 10-year salary of $117,000 per year.

The Cahill Career Development Center helps set up students for success by delivering the Pathways Program, which every student is required to complete in order to graduate. The Pathways Program is designed to guide and support undergraduate students as they prepare for their post-Ramapo plans through career exploration, self-assessment, experiential learning and professional development. This, combined with ample internship and job placement opportunities, contribute to financial success in their careers.

The College continues its bold ascension as a national exemplar in higher education. Most recently, Niche named RCNJ a best value college for 2024, with placement in the top 8% nationally. In June, Money magazine named Ramapo College one of the best colleges in America, coming in third for New Jersey only behind Princeton University and New Jersey Institute of Technology.
